QA Tester (Mobile App & Web)

About this role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of the Hometasker mobile app and website. In this role, you will plan and execute test activities across iOS/Android and web, identify defects early, and work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver polished releases that customers can trust. You will own day-to-day functional testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing, while contributing to clear test documentation and repeatable test processes. Success in this role means you can think like a user, communicate issues precisely, and collaborate effectively to drive fixes through to completion. You’ll help improve our QA practices over time, including test coverage, release readiness, and (where applicable) the adoption of test automation.

Skills

Requirements

• 2+ years of QA testing experience on mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web platforms
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing practices
• Experience writing clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports with reproducible steps and evidence (screenshots/video/logs)
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
